Auto Action's latest issue 1854 is out now!

FORD is back into motorsport in a big way with confirmation of a Formula 1 engine program with Red Bull Powertrains. Ford will re-enter F1 in 2026 and it follows the launch of the Mustang Generation 7 motorsport program which includes Supercars, NASCAR, GT3 and GT4, as well as other racing customer cars.

While it’s all positive in F1 land, Andrew Clarke reveals that Ford and Supercars are still at odds when it comes to finding a parity solution between the Gen3 Mustangs and Chevrolet Camaro’s, with issues stemming over the engine performance and tuning as well as some potential aero imbalance with the Chevrolet Camaro.

While anticipation builds toward the Supercars Gen3 season, it was a thrilling Bathurst 12 Hour that was the perfect kickstart to big time racing in Australia… As well as a dose of magic from “The Doctor!”
