Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

PLEASE NOTE: This does not include magazines or magazine subscriptions.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as magazines and magazine subscriptions. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at admin@autoaction.com.au.

Subscriptions
You may cancel any subscription within 48 hours of purchase and receive a full refund from Auto Action.

 

  • Please contact us at admin@autoaction.com.au, or call 03 9563 2107 to request a cancellation of a subscription. Once we receive notification from you that you wish to cancel your subscription, any amount paid to Auto Action for the subscription will be refunded as soon as possible.

  • All refunds will be processed in accordance with the payment method selected by you at the time of your purchase. Additionally, as part of the measures we employ to secure your privacy, we will only refund to the credit card, Paypal or Afterpay account used for the original transaction or by cheque to the person listed as the purchaser of the subscription.

  • Refunds for orders over $200 can only be refunded by cheque. No refunds will be processed to any other credit card, Paypal or Afterpay account.

  • A 'firm sale' is considered to be 48 hours after the purchase has been made. Firm Sale cancellations and refunds requested, more than 48 hours after purchase, are provided only at the discretion of the publisher. Firm Sale orders may be refunded in full, in part, or not at all.

  • Under Australian Consumer Law, Auto Action is not obliged to refund if you have simply changed your mind, found a product we sell cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it, whether you purchased it for yourself or received it as a gift.

  • Agree that there are NO cancellations and refunds on International orders after 48 hours of purchase.

    Recurring Subscriptions
    You can cancel your recurring subscription at any time, and you will continue to receive your print copy of Auto Action through to the end of your billing period. You will only receive a full refund if you cancel your Recurring Subscription within 48 hours of purchase.

    To the extent permitted by the applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods, unless you contact us within 48 hours of purchase.

    To cancel, please contact us at admin@autoaction.com.au. If you cancel your membership, your account will automatically close at the end of your current billing period.

    Your recurring subscription will continue until terminated. Unless you cancel your recurring subscription before your billing date, you authorize us to charge the subscription fee for the next billing cycle to your chosen Payment Method.

    We may change our subscription plans and the price of our service from time to time; however, any price changes or changes to your subscription plans will apply no earlier than the start of your next billing period.
